SHIFT @ THE OTHERS SHIFT had a quiet and humble beginning in Sweden in 1997. Now based in the south coast area of England SHIFT has had several releases on labels such as Hospital Productions, Freak Animal, At War With False Noise and on his own label Unrest Productions. SHIFT offers a slow, drone infested and crushingly bass heavy take on the power electronics genre. Carefully avoiding the use of playback and laptops SHIFT operates all equipment (analogue synths, effects pedals, contact mics, sheet metal, samplers etc) and vocals resulting in an intense and disciplined live set of oppressive subsonic gloom, executed in real time. http://www.freewebs.com/shift-work
